This unique exhibition and benefit features works in an 8 x 10" format, created by hundreds of acclaimed artists (approximately 400 artists in 2008) from Los Angeles and across the world. All the works in INCOGNITO remain $300 each. Patrons are encouraged to trust their instincts to guide their selections, as all works are signed on the back and artist identities are revealed only after purchase. The element of surprise that underlies INCOGNITO reflects the essence of exploration and revelation that inspires SMMoAs (Santa Monica Museum of Art) exhibitions, education, and outreach programs. All proceeds directly support the Museum, which in 2008 celebrated two decades of creative accomplishment.
